| Summer has officially arrived. Hot, hummid, and hazy, seems to be an everyday forecast now for the foreseeable future. Here's hoping we don't have rain five days a week like last summer. It's been a very busy spring. Now we get a chance to breathe for a month before we start planting for the fall. Time flies. Seems like just yesterday we were starting to plant for the spring. The picture above is of a new elephant ear named White Lava. I saved a couple of plants back from the spring to see how they would perform, and I'm glad I did. They are pretty incredible. You should try some of these if you get the chance. And remember, drive right on by those big box stores and support your local independent garden center. |
Welcome to Stewart's Nursery. Thanks for visiting our home page. We are a small wholesale nursery and have been growing annuals, perennials, herbs, and roses for over twenty years. When you go to your local independent garden center to buy your plants, ever wonder where those plants come from? Well , they come from people like us. We start plants out from seed, or cuttings that we take, or plugs that we get in, and grow those plants to a size that is ready for the consumer, that's you. We then sell those plants to independent garden centers, landscapers, and gardeners alike. We are located about twenty minutes from McDonough, Ga., but are also equally close to Conyers and Covington, Ga. Please visit our contact page for more information.
